We launched an immediate aid program and fundraising to help the earthquake victims in Nepal. Through ACT Alliance – our umbrella organization – we provided the people in need with foodstuff, drinking water, clothing and blanket. The main focus of the subsequent reconstruction program was the establishment of 250 temporary school buildings that we supported with the help of our domestic partners.

After the spring floods we continuously assisted the evacuated and later returned dwellers in more than 34 settlements of the country: emergency assistance was provided to 10 thousand beneficiaries. During the rehabilitation phase we implemented reconstruction of homes of 1200 flood-affected families and organized personal property replacement.
